My daughter signed up for a term of Jenny’s after-school art classes at Lake Hāwea when she was eight; and it immediately became a regular part of our week for the next five years. Over that time it never failed to surprise me the breadth and depth of skill, knowledge, technique and inspiration that Jenny passed on to her students. Her sessions are always so meticulously planned and thoughtfully executed, using a wide variety of techniques and mediums. Jenny worked to encourage and develop the artist in my daughter, who now has the foundation to flourish. I can’t thank Jenny enough - we would continue our art journey with her if we could, but now Dunedin folk are the ones fortunate to have the opportunity.

My daughter participated in weekly after-school art classes with Jenny for 4 years. These 2-hour sessions were a favourite part of her week. She would liken going to Jenny's classes to visiting your favourite Aunts house, she always felt so comfortable and welcome. The mixed media and techniques that Jenny introduced her students to is so invaluable resulting in an amazing skill set. Jenny’s classes have created a lifelong love for art in my daughter.
