Life Drawing

Over the course of three years I have been a regular participant in Jenny’s life drawing class. With Jenny’s guidance, I have been able to develop not only my drawing skills but also my overall confidence as an artist. In the course, Jenny enabled us to try out different drawing exercises and mediums, that we otherwise probably would not have discovered. All sorts of different drawing styles were encouraged and cherished, and it was interesting to see how the other the participants saw and drew the same model. Jenny created a very supportive, light and friendly atmosphere in the drawing room - a place where different artists meet, experiment, practice and become friends. I fully recommend Jenny’s life drawing classes to anyone who would like to further their artistic skills or is simply looking to have a great time exploring the visual arts.

I have really enjoyed Jenny’s life drawing classes. I’ve done both regular evening classes and full life drawing days, and very much enjoyed both. Jenny always takes you through some exercises to warm up, trying out different techniques and tricks, before giving you the freedom of some longer poses. She’s always on hand to help, but she also allows you space to do your work. Jenny also secured some great models to draw. Very much recommended.

I am so grateful to Jenny for reigniting my art. I have attended many of the weekly and weekend life drawing classes over the last few years. Jenny provides a respectful, warm, friendly and encouraging environment for all levels.

I learnt so much in Jenny’s classes - she has a real skill in encouraging each pupil and understanding how to enhance their natural style through warm up exercises, experimenting with materials and insightful suggestions.

I have been attending Jenny's life drawing classes for several years. I have certainly enjoyed Jenny's method of teaching and her guidance. Her choice of models and models' poses have been great, I look forward to future classes.
